Q. What are your chapel hours?

A. Our chapel and office is open by appointment. We ask that you give us a call prior to coming in to see the chapel as we may have other weddings going on. We perform weddings seven days a week between 9:00 am and 8:00 PM by appointment. We are closed on Christmas Day, and early on christmas eve.

Q. What time should I arrive at the chapel for my ceremony?

A. We ask that you arrive no earlier then 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ceremony as we do not have a waiting room and may have other weddings in progress. All packages include 1 hr chapel time (ex: 1:45-2:45)

Q. Does the Two Hearts Wedding Chapel have a late policy?

A. Yes. If the ceremony is delayed more then 15 minutes, a late fee of $50.00 will be applied. If the ceremony is more then 15 minutes late, Two Hearts reserves the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel the wedding.

Q. Do you have a change room?

A. We have 1 change room at our chapel. If you wish to use it we ask that you arrive with your hair and makeup done. This is open 15 minutes prior to your wedding ceremony for the Bride.

Q. "Save the Date" deposit?

A. A non-refundable "Save the Date" deposit is required to secure the date and time of your ceremony. The fee is deducted from the total cost, therefore only the remainder is due on or beofre the day of the event. After 1 day of booking your wedding, your deposit becomes non-refundable. The deposit can be payed by visa, mastercard, online money transfer, chq (if time allows for mailing/clearing) cash or debit.

Q. We just became engaged! What do we do next?

A. It is very important that you reserve the location for your wedding and reception. If you are planning a larger wedding, this is very important. Many restaurants and reception halls are booked up a year in advance. We can perform several weddings on a day, but the reception hall may only accommodate two receptions.

 Q. Can we bring our own decorations to your chapels?

A. Our chapels are totally decorated, so there is no need to spend money on extra flowers, bows, etc. If you feel you would like to add a small bouquet of flowers to the signing table that would be fine. If you are using the Unity Sand Service, they would be placed on the signing table. If you wish to decorate it must be put up and taken down in your 1 hr time slot.

 Q. Can we bring our own bouquets?

A. Yes you can.  We also have several coulours of boquets and boutennieres available here to borrow. We also have ring pillows, flower girl baskets and petals. No real petals allowed. Only silk may be used.

Q. Can we write our own vows and ceremony?

A. Yes, you can write your own ceremony, if you wish. Let us know is you are planning to do so. We ask that we have the final copy 1week before the wedding. We can also suggest materials to use.

 Q. Are rings a legal requirement?

A. No they are not. They are symbols or tokens of the love that is to be shared between the two people being married. Most couples do have a double ring ceremony.

 Q. Do we need to memorize our vows?

A. Please relax! Your wedding day is meant to be a happy one for you. It can be very stressful if you have to remember your vows. Your minister will prompt you with a few words at a time for your vows and ring exchanges.

 Q. Can we get married next to the Falls?

A. No. The city does not allow weddings next to the falls. The closest you may get married to the falls is at Oaks Gardens Theatre. The falls can be seen in the background. You must reserve the garden in advance at Niagara Parks. www.niagaraparks.ca or 1-877-642-7275. Rental fee of $325.00 plus taxes.Must be booked no matter the number of guests.

Q. What is the Unity Sand Ceremony and how do I do the Sand Ceremony?

A. The Sand Ceremony is something that we use as an alternative to the Unity Candle. After the minister reads the statement below, the couple pour two containers of sand into a third container simultaneously (with names and wedding date on it)

"The indivudial vials of sand represent your individual lives before today. Pouring the sand into the center vial represents that your two lives are now joined into one, and represents the joining together of your two families and sets of friends to one."

Q. Can I arrange a rehearsal?

Yes, 1/2 hr rehearsals can be requested in advance for an additional charge of $50.00. Available Monday to Friday
